When a pet is sick, tests show what an exam alone can't. At Furmillion Veterinary Clinic, 15/2 Tajmahal Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka, our vets run blood tests, quick kit tests, fecal tests, digital X-ray and ultrasound for cats, dogs and other pets, all in one place.

Blood tests

CBC (complete blood count): BDT 900. Shows signs of infection and anemia. With a blood film (BDT 1,500), the vet can also look for some blood parasites.

Which test might my pet need?
Vomiting, diarrhea or not eating: the vet may suggest a parvo or panleukopenia kit test, a fecal test and a CBC.
A cat with a swollen belly: the Rivalta test, FIP kit tests and an ultrasound can help find the cause.
Older pets: kidney and liver tests help catch problems early, before signs show.
Limping or a fall: an X-ray shows fractures and joint problems.
Questions pet owners ask
Do I need an appointment for a blood test? You can walk in during opening hours, but calling ahead helps us get ready. The vet checks your pet first and then takes the sample.
Should my pet skip food before a blood test? Some tests need an empty stomach and others don't. Ask us when you book.
Can you test for FIP? Yes. We do feline coronavirus antibody and antigen kit tests, the Rivalta test and ultrasound to look for fluid. No single test confirms FIP, so the vet looks at all the results together.

পারভো বা প্যানলিউকোপেনিয়ার টেস্ট কি এখানে করা যায়? হ্যাঁ। কুকুরের পারভো (CPV) ও বিড়ালের প্যানলিউকোপেনিয়া (FPV) কিট টেস্ট ৬০০ টাকা।
পরীক্ষার আগে কি খাবার বন্ধ রাখতে হবে? কিছু পরীক্ষার আগে পোষা প্রাণীকে খালি পেটে রাখতে হয়, কিছু পরীক্ষায় তা প্রয়োজন হয় না। অ্যাপয়েন্টমেন্ট নেওয়ার সময় আমাদের জিজ্ঞেস করে নিন।
