What X-ray and ultrasound can show

X-ray: broken bones, joint problems, swallowed objects, bladder stones, and the heart and lungs

Ultrasound: the liver, kidneys, bladder, intestines and other soft organs, and fluid in the belly

Pregnancy: ultrasound confirms pregnancy, and an X-ray late in pregnancy can count the kittens or puppies
X-rays show bones and shapes best, while ultrasound shows soft tissue. The vet may suggest one or both.
X-ray and ultrasound questions
How much is a cat X-ray in Bangladesh? At Furmillion, the first view is BDT 1,000, the second BDT 800 and the third BDT 600.
What is a contrast X-ray? The vet gives a contrast dye so the stomach, intestines or urinary tract show up clearly on the X-ray.
